In February of this year the Liverpool Golf Club was inundated by flood waters from the Georges River which effectively covered 40% of the course over a seven day period.
Resorts superintendent Matt Jeffree and the crew did an excellent job (thanks guys) to recover the course from this incident and had the course back in play within 7 days.
This was quite a test for Matt who has only been superintendent at Liverpool for a short time having come across from our Fox Hills golf club contract in Seven Hills.
Special thanks also go to the long serving 2IC at Liverpool, Paul Barry. Paul was part of the original crew at Liverpool when we were awarded the contract for this group 1 course and we are very lucky to have retained his services.
