It’s rained on Muree
14 April 07The Muree Golf Club in NSW, a Resorts Total client, received ten inches of welcome rain in the last six weeks. It meant for the first time in a long time local dams filled and the course received a much needed drink.
Situated at Raymond Terrace, inland from Newcastle, this attractive course is largely sand-based and has been under intense stress prior to the recent downpour. The rain has mean that the Muree crew, lead by Shane Cowper, can tone down their green watering.
Unfortunately this area of the country remains one of the few without water restrictions.
